		<description>Lessons From the Road

A series of instructional videos aimed at parents and people supervising new learner drivers.
Because of the legal requirements involved, these videos were set to a very strict script and posed many editing challenges of getting the actors to say the right thing whilst keeping the flow of the video as natural as possible.

In addition to the edit, I designed and animated the graphics for this project, based on the 'Lessons From The Road' style guide.

<description>First Songs is an idea to produce a Melbourne-based series about all the teenage bands out there and what they go through making their first steps into the music scene. We started by going out and filming two bands; Stonefield and Quinn, to cut the trailer together to market the series.

<description>William Angliss came to the team at Catfish to make a cinema ad that would position them as the further education provider who trains you for anything outside of an office job.
Filming on Red, we set up a series of scenes depicting the absence of someone in an office job. The edit was a very fast turnaround and a refreshing return for me to the intricate nature of advertisement editing, where cuts are short and every frame counts.

<description>Once a year, a handful of Lucky SKILLED employes from accross the country are flown to Sydney for a weekend out at the V8 Supercars where they compete in the final round robin of the 'Pit Crew Challenge'. This was a fun project which demanded a lot of high-energy and fast-paced cutting.

Another example of a video on which I worked on the graphics as well as the edit

<description>This film was made to raise awareness of the dangers of driving to and from worksites all over Australia, where far too many unnecessary deaths occur.
The sensitive nature of the content meant special attention neede to be paid to the tone of the edit.
Celebrity rally driver Mark Skaife was interviewed to give his perspective on road safety.

<description>Catfish went to France to shoot this video for Trafalgar, showcasing one of their most popular travel experiences; At Leisure in Paris and Provence. In addition to my role as an editor on this project, I also created the motion graphics based on Trafalgar's 'At Leisure branding. The footage from the Panasonic AF 102 cameras was a pleasure to work with.
