Poster design for a play based on events of the 1912 Waihi Miner's strike in New Zealand.

Usually I avoid having much copy on event posters, but in this case I decided to make the body text the point of difference.

The balance of vintage newspaper elements to clues that this was actually a current poster required special attention for this project. and the aging details were quite fun to work on.
